Our sweet furry friends are Sheri’s writing companions and will be on the property during the retreat. However, unless we receive a special request, guests will not have interaction with them, as we know some people aren’t “dog folks.” The airbnb space is pet free. While you won’t see them, you’ll hear occasional barks- which alert Sheri of new guests arriving.
Sheri’s Writing Retreat was such a pleasure to attend. As an aspiring writer, I left feeling inspired and ready to tackle the world of Children’s Books! I was seeking guidance, inspiration, and a tranquil environment and this retreat surpassed all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Sheri's warmth and enthusiasm were genuine and her passion for helping writers is infectious. The location was perfect, nestled in nature I was engulfed in the experience. From yoga, energy work, and time for meditation, it all perfectly fit into Sheri’s schedule of writing prompts and educational features. The best of all was time spent with a closed-house editor. Having that opportunity put the whole retreat overboard.
Overall, my time with Sheri provided the perfect balance between host-based learning and individual time to dig deep into my work. If you are a writer, I would recommend this retreat tenfold!

The Writers' Retreat uniquely combined writing conversations, individual critiques, and physical activities to inspire us.
You are a special facilitator who listens carefully to her attendees questions, and writing needs.
The space promotes both sharing and individual writing times.
Plus the space is unique. A person can walk, attend a bonfire, and see deer too.
Anyone who attends Sheri's retreats will leave with an abundance of ideas to keep them writing.
Thank you Sheri,
Joan
